Our youngest Tigers prepare for success in school and in life through research-based, whole-child curriculum built for the individual needs of the child. The Creative Curriculum helps each student build a foundation of learning on inquiry, exploration, and discovery.
Who is eligible to attend?
All four-year-old and eligible three-year-old Bellevue residents may attend free of charge. We also offer a low-cost tuition option for nonresident students.
All are welcome at Bellevue Preschool!
What other services are included at no charge?
BUS TRANSPORTATION
Available to all Bellevue, KY residents.
MEALS
Breakfast is provided to all AM session students, and lunch to all PM session students. Additional meals included for those participating in the wraparound program.
HEAR OUR ROAR
All students who attend Bellevue Preschool and are given a FREE book each week to take home and keep. Bellevue Independent Schools believes in the power of books and literacy in all students and is excited to offer this program. Books are selected and sent home on Thursday of every week and topics are tied to the topics of the week taught in class. No registration necessary.
FIELD TRIPS
These interactive learning experiences are offered a minimum of once monthly.
TIGER CUBS BOOK PROGRAM
Bellevue Independent Schools believes in the power of books for children starting at birth. Reading books with infants and young children is a wonderful time for bonding while developing rich language skills. If you have a child who lives in Bellevue, Ky. and is under three years of age, please register using our simple online form. We are excited to help our families build their home libraries and look forward to adding your family to our distribution list!

BORNLEARNING ACADEMY®
The Toyota BornLearning Academy® is a series of FREE family workshops designed to “turn everyday moments into learning opportunities”. Expectant moms and dads, parents, grandparents and guardians of children ages 0 thru 5 years of age are invited to attend these monthly sessions held at Grandview Elementary. A family dinner starts the event at 5:30 followed by parent session and activities with your child. Childcare is provided during the parent session. Registration is easy by calling 859-261-BISD (ext. 314) or emailing tara.wittrock@bellevue.kyschools.us.
CRADLE SCHOOL
Cradle School is offered to parents & caregivers of children ages 12 to 36 months. Cradle School is offered WEEKLY on Fridays from 10am – 11am (when school is in session) at our Grandview Elementary preschool classroom. Preschool teachers are on hand to interact with you and your child in an educational environment. Parents / caregivers will benefit from this program as they will learn about their child’s developmental milestones and better prepare the children for school. Children can benefit by building peer/teacher relationships and becoming more familiar in the school environment. Appointments are not necessary and is a FREE service provided by the Bellevue Preschool.
FUTURE BELLEVUE TIGERS
Bellevue School Board member Julie Fischer provides every identified newborn in the city of Bellevue a Future Bellevue Tiger baby bag. The Future Tiger bag is filled with developmental information for parents, a book, Future Bellevue Tiger onesie and other great materials. Click HERE to add your little one to the list!
STUDENT DENTAL PREVENTION PROGRAM
A licensed public health dental hygienist offers free dental examinations, as well as cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants as needed. If tooth decay is found, students are referred to a dentist and the school nurse, family resource center and the Health Department follows up.
FULL DAY PRESCHOOL OPTION
Aunt Kathy's is available onsite for those who prefer a full day wraparound program. Meals are included, and local transportation can be arranged!
